Senior System Developer

This role is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make an immediate impact upon organisational success and to work with a large, dynamic, open-minded and supportive team.
It will suit experienced, software developers with C# and SQL skills who will enjoy the challenge of applying their expertise in relation to database-driven Internet and intranet systems development in an informal but challenging working environment.
The systems development team are responsible for a variety of existing internal and external web sites and systems that are under a rolling program of enhancements or replacement. In addition, the team are responsible for the creation of new systems that support the company moving in new directions. Specific duties and responsibilities will include:-
- To take requirements captured by the team’s business analysts and to build or change existing systems to meet the requirements
- To provide input and leadership across the full project life-cycle, at times guiding the solution from concept through to post implementation support
- To monitor and communicate progress against milestones – taking remedial action where necessary
- To conduct post-implementation reviews
- Act as a key member of the Development Team
- Some support of the existing systems that use a variety of (Microsoft) technologies
