Zen Internet are required by law to ensure that all our employees have the right to work in the UK.
All of our roles are based in the UK and therefore you would need to have the right to work in the UK. Individuals from countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) must be in possession of a work permit to allow them to take up employment. For more information please visit the Government's Working in the UK website.
Our ability to gain a UK work permit for potential employees from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) depends upon several factors. This includes the type of visa a candidate may currently possess if they are already resident in the UK and the skill level of the job advertised. In certain circumstances Zen Internet may have the ability to support a candidate in their first steps to obtain a work permit if we can demonstrate that we could not recruit for a position from within the EEA.
You will receive an email straight away to let you know we've received your application. Once the application has been reviewed, we will get in touch again by email or phone with an update. It is difficult to give a fixed timescale as this varies depending on the nature of the role you are applying for; however, we will respond to you as soon as possible and advise you of the next steps.
It depends on the role. In some cases, you may be required to attend an assessment where we will ask you to complete some tasks related to the role you've applied for. In other cases, you may have a number of interviews with your potential manager and other relevant people in the business. As part of this, you may be asked to complete some research or give a presentation. But don't worry; we'll make sure you're kept fully informed about what you'll need to do before you start each stage of the selection process.
We would stress the importance of tailoring your CV specifically to the role you are applying for. Analyse the information provided in the job advert or job description and show within your CV and/or cover letter how your skills and experience matches up to this. This will make it easier for the person reviewing your CV to see that you have the relevant skills and experience, making you a candidate worth considering for the role. A good tip is to ask a friend to read the job description and your CV to provide an objective view.
Someone from our HR team will contact you personally to talk you through the offer and what happens next.
The checks conducted will vary depending on the role you have been recruited for. In all cases, we will confirm your right to work in the UK and take your employer references covering the last three years.
