Ex BT employee chooses Zen for reliability, local service and quality of support.
Sue Collins wouldn’t recommend anyone but Zen.
The retired BT employee from Oxfordshire has been a Zen customer for nearly 20 years. “They were recommended to me by a very old and trusted friend”, she says. “And once I became aware of them, I simply wasn’t interested in any other broadband providers.”
Attracted by Zen’s 100% UK based setup, Sue even found the name compelling: “As a lifelong yoga practitioner the word ‘Zen’ appealed to me.”
The other thing that Sue loved was the Zen contract: simple and straightforward, making the choice easy.
And the Zen experience has been equally smooth.
“All my dealings with Zen have been online”, says Sue. “And they have always been very straightforward and simple.
“Apart from the occasional brief outages which are generally explainable, I can’t remember any large break in service in the 20 years I’ve been with Zen. And those brief outages are the only challenges I’ve ever faced.
“If I do need to get in touch, I always prefer to use email. They always answer very quickly. Their replies are always very prompt and in plain English.”
When asked about her online experience with Zen, Sue couldn’t be happier. The confidence that a reliable Zen connection provides is very reassuring. “I do everything online”, she says. “From organising my social life to all my shopping and voluntary work for Citizen’s Advice, my entire life is organised online. If I didn’t have the internet it would be rather disastrous. It has all my banking, all my bills…everything.”
Sue’s retirement has brought her to permanent residence in a mobile home on a retirement park, but this has not affected her Zen connectivity at all. “I’ve never had any issues, and continue to use the internet as I always have. I’m on the local committee and all the admin work is done online.”
“They were recommended to me by a very old and trusted friend and once I became aware of them, I simply wasn’t interested in any other broadband providers.”
