Halloween is a time for ghosts and ghouls, but even if the thought of the supernatural doesn’t give you the creeps, one thing that might be causing sleepless nights is a patchy WiFi connection.

Picture this. You’re enjoying a smooth online experience in the living room but then you carry your phone upstairs and… nothing. Whether your YouTube stream stops unexpectedly, your FaceTime call cuts out or your emails are suddenly inaccessible, we understand the frustration.

You’ve got your super-duper broadband connection, but you can only use it in certain parts of the house.

There’s a reason for that, of course. Most WiFi routers do a good job in standard houses of a standard size, built with standard materials. If you’re lucky, you might have a particularly good router with a better than average wireless range (we think the FRITZ!Box we provide is pretty good) that pushes decent WiFi to all parts of the home. But many houses aren’t ‘typical’.

You might have thicker than average walls. Maybe your home is built from more solid materials. Perhaps your broadband connection doesn’t enter the home in a nice, central location, pushing your router to a far-flung corner.

Whatever the reason, sometimes your WiFi needs a hand.

But before you despair at the frightening state of your connection, there is a solution.

For great coverage in every part of the home, you might just benefit from Zen EveryRoom. Here’s how it works.

The EveryRoom solution

EveryRoom makes use of mesh technology. That’s different from the average WiFi extender you might find online or at various electrical stores.

An extender will typically ‘repeat’ the signal it receives from your router. If that’s a strong signal, great. If it’s a weak signal, then all it will send on is another weak signal.

Extenders also come with the faff of having to set up and remember another wireless network. When you switch from your router’s WiFi signal to the signal of the repeater, you’re effectively joining a different network.

Mesh on the other hand seamlessly connects to your router to simply extend its coverage.

Say your router is in the living room and you’re getting a poor or no connection in the conservatory. Simply plug your EveryRoom mesh device in the kitchen or dining room and it’ll send on a nice, strong signal, vastly increasing the range of your WiFi.

As long as your home is no larger than 170 square metres (around double the size of the average UK home), EveryRoom guarantees a signal in every room of your house.

For just £10 per month, we’ll send you a FRITZ! Repeater 3000 device to pair up with your FRITZ!Box router and you’re good to go (we’ll help you get set up if you need a hand). If you’re still not getting a signal in every room, we’ll send you another device (£15 P&P fee) and your monthly cost will remain the same.
