Today we are sharing the story of Hannah Holmes, who is Marketing Manager of Nimans Connect.

How long have you worked in the tech industry?

25 years.

What is your current role?

Marketing Manager of Nimans Connect. The division within Nimans that provides wholesale fibre connectivity, UC platforms, mobile, SIP, M2M and more.

What do you love about being a Woman in Tech?

We’re in a diverse, industry that offers a lot of opportunity across all kinds of products and solutions. A lot of my female colleagues (past and present), supplier and customer contacts have been in the industry a long time. There’s great camaraderie and support among female peers and it’s always good to see us celebrating each other’s career successes.

What advice would you give to other women seeking a career in Tech?

You don’t need to be technical to work in tech! It’s a fast moving, innovative industry that provides multiple opportunities for women in all aspects e.g. sales, marketing, finance, customer engagement and management and you can get as technical as you want (or not!). I’m certainly not technical and it’s never held me back.
