And we think this updated statement does that, encapsulating our enduring commitment to people and our growing responsibility toward sustainability and environmental impact.

What’s staying the same?

The heart of Zen hasn’t changed. We’re still proudly independent, driven by long-term thinking rather than short-term gains. We’re still committed to exceptional service, transparency and integrity. And, of course, our people-first approach remains most important — because doing the right thing starts with caring about those around us.

What does “people and planet” mean?

When we say “people”, we mean everyone we interact with: our customers, employees, suppliers, and the communities we serve. Doing right by people means acting with fairness, transparency, and respect, building relationships based on trust.

Doing right by planet means taking practical, meaningful steps — like switching to 100% renewable energy across our data centre and office and working with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability. It’s about choosing actions that genuinely help the environment, like investing in greener technologies, reducing our carbon footprint, and always looking for ways to make a positive and lasting impact.
