Downloading your Content

After getting your webspace details from the previous step, you now need to download your content by using an FTP program of your choosing.

You can find third party tools online such as Filezilla here, which can be used on Windows, MacOS and Linux.

Please be aware, Zen are not affiliated with any third party such as Filezilla and cannot be responsible for loss of data when using these tools.

What to do with your Downloaded Content

After you've downloaded your content and have this on your device, here's a few ideas of what to do next with it

Option 1

Don't want to Re-Host your Content?

If you just wanted to download your content onto your device and don't need to re-host it? Then you're all set.

Option 2

Have WebHosting with another Provider?

If you want to re-host your content and have a hosting package with another provider then you'll need to contact them for instructions to re-upload your content.

Option 3

Get Webhosting with Zen

You can re-host your content with us on a cPanel, if you don't already have one you can purchase a package here.

If you've purchased a cPanel from us, then this guide here can help you with re-uploading your content onto it.

FAQs

Will this affect my Zen email address?

Please don't worry, your emails will not be impacted by the switch off of Zen's Webspace.

When is Zen Webspace being switch off?

The Zen Webspace will be deactivated on 31st October 2023

Why are you doing this?

After a review of our services it has become apparent that some of our older offerings are no longer fit for purpose. We are therefore making some changes as we modernise our portfolio of products and services.

We're constantly adapting our service offerings to ensure that we're meeting the evolving needs of our customers but the current FTP webspace does not meet the standards we strive to achieve.

What does it mean for me?

This change may impact you, particularly if you've used our Webspace in the past to store images or host your static website. If you no longer want the data on your Webspace, rest assured that we will handle the removal of your content safely and securely.
